From Comps, walks into the wild are always astonishing and instructive about nature and its shapes.
We will be pleased to bring any useful information to walkers at the hotel, and a 'syndicat d'initiative' (that is, a bureau of tourism) will help you to enjoy your journey at most.
Bike-riders may use a parking room. Motorbikes also easily fall in love of our wonderful countryside, we often find their videos on Youtube and we advise you to discover some of them in our video gallery.

Settled on a perfect spot along the little road which crosses Comps, you can't miss the original house of family BAIN. They take good care, together, of the art of hosting and cooking. Since 1737, generations of BAINs have been passing on knowledge and passion. About half an hour far from Draguignan and Castellane, Comps sur Artuby, next to Canjuers, is rich of some treasures anyone should see once : Chapels Saint-André, Saint-Philomène and Saint-Jean elected heritage site), the Saint-Didier Chapel outside the town and linked to the past life of Templars in the country : the Bonne Fontaine (a Middle-Age spring, restored recently), the Mauvais Pont ('Bad Bridge'), the so-called Romain du Hameau de la Souche Bridge, the facilities on the borders of the river... The Notre-Dame Chapel, also called 'Chapelle de la Galine Grasse' (Chapel of the Fat Hen'), for there were offerings of animals brought there in ancient times.
Comps is always an ideal starting point to a whole variety of paths into preserved nature. Most of all, the place and its cachet definitely bring a deep feeling of harmony, fitting agelessly to a strong tradition of hosting and hospitality. Some meaningful touristic spots, including Bargème and its fortifications, are closest and most enjoyable.
